HOW
DO I...
MAKE
AN APPOINTMENT?
We operate an appointment system. Appointments
can be made by phoning the practice between 8.00am and 6.00pm,
on 0141 531 4128 when a mutually convenient time will be offered.
Emergency appointments
are available daily.
If you are unable
to keep your appointment please contact the practice in order that another patient
may be able to see the doctor sooner. HOW
DO I...
OBTAIN
A HOME VISIT?
Patients are requested to telephone on 0141 531 6060 before 10.00am if a
visit is required that day. Only emergency visits only will be arranged after that
time.
Please give the receptionist
as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to home
visits and do remember that several patients can be seen at the health centre
in the time it takes to do a home visit.
HOW
DO I...
MAKE
A SUGGESTION/COMPLAINT?
Dr Bruce, Dr Friel and staff offer 100% patient service at all times. However,
we welcome any queries or suggestions. If you have a complaint regarding the service
we provide then please contact Mrs McMenemy, our practice manager, who will discuss
your complaint.
You can telephone May direct on 0141 531 6061 Monday to Friday.
HOW
DO I...
OBTAIN
A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION?
Please note that we are unable to accept repeat prescriptions by telephone.
Please hand your
request in at our reception desk or send your repeat request slip by post to the
practice. Do remember to include a stamped addressed envelope if you wish us to
return your prescription to your home.
After submitting your repeat prescription, we ask that you allow 24 hours before collection.
HOW
DO I...
OBTAIN TEST
RESULTS?
Please contact 0141 531 6060 between 12 noon
and 1.00pm should you require the results of tests. Test results can only be given
to patients themselves unless the doctor has agreed to an alternative arrangement beforehand. Our receptionist will confirm your name, date of birth and address
before advising what action has to be taken with your results.
